Overview
A fully completed profile is the best way to present yourself to recruiters.
The more information you provide, the higher your chances of showing up in a recruiter's search. You can track your progress using the progress bar at the top of your profile.
Step 1 - Add general information and a picture
Step 2 - "I 'm seeking-section" (optional)
Step 4 - List your work experience and education
Step 6 - Your interests and values
Instructions
To create your profile, simply click on the "My Profile" tab in the top navigation bar.
Progress bar
At the top of this page you will see a progress bar which indicates your profile's level of completion. To find out what information still needs to be filled out, simply click on "What's missing?", and the relevant sections will be listed.
Step 1 - Add general information and a picture
Click on the "Edit" button on the right side of this section to fill out or edit your name, current city and current occupation. You can upload a picture by clicking on the pen icon ✎, which is one of the best ways to make your profile more personal.
Below your picture you can also add a little description or slogan to your profile, and you can toggle the "Open for opportunities" bar on or off, to indicate to recruiters whether or not you are currently looking for a new role.
Step 2 - "I 'm seeking-section" (optional)
If you indicated in the previous step that you are open for opportunities, this section will become available to you. Here you can enter the type of employment you are seeking, as well as when and for which locations you are available.
Step 3 - Add your CV
You can also upload a PDF version of your CV, which is a great way to add a more detailed overview of your experience and skills, especially if you are looking to find new job opportunities during an event.
When uploading your CV, please make sure that the PDF file name does not contain any special characters or spaces, otherwise the PDF cannot be uploaded.
Step 4 - List your work experience and education
You can add all your previous experience and education, or edit any of those entries at any time. Always make sure to click on "Save" when adding new information to your entries.
Step 5 - Your background
This section includes more information on your previous experience and skills, as well as any languages you speak on a professional level, any programming languages you may know and also where do you have the right to work.
Step 6 - Your interests and values
We also created sections that are designed to give recruiters unique forward-looking insights, such as what interests you and what values you would be looking for in a future employer.
We strongly recommend adding as much information as you can in all these sections, as our recruiters are also working with filters to find the candidates most suitable for their company or open roles.
You're all set! 🎉
Once you have filled all of these sections out, your progress bar should be at 100% and you are ready for your upcoming event.
