When participating in one of our video formats, you do have the option the enable closed captions with Google Chrome with these simple steps:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.
Step 2: In the top right corner, click on the three stacked dots to open the menu and then select "Settings".
Step 3: On the left side at the bottom of the settings page, select "Advanced".
Step 4: Under “Accessibility”, turn on Live Caption.
With Live Caption on in Google Chrome, videos in events will display closed captions at the bottom of your screen. You can also read Google's support article to find out more about this.
🗒 Note for speakers: This method will not enable closed captions for a host's broadcast to all participating talents. Chrome's Live Caption is a setting that should be shared with participants so they can enable it for their own event experience. |
